* The ship in station 83 is probably a mis-spelling of the Canadian Cristoph van Doornum (see Empire Commerce on this external page). The ship in station 84 is listed as J. McGee on the A 1 form, I'm guessing it should be James Magee.
* Sirikishna may not have sailed, or returned to port - she's also listed in the next convoy, HX 13.
** From HXF 11.

A. Hague has also included the British North Cornwall, with a note saying "not listed, certainly in this convoy" - see his listing for HX 12 on the page ships in all HX convoys.

Notes:
Commodore was in Pacific Exporter, station 61.
Vice Commodore was in Scholar, station 31.

Ocean Escorts were HMS Ausonia (between columns 4 and 5) and S/MV Pasteur.

A. Hague lists the following escorts (received from D. Kindell; dates are European style, day/month/year):
Ausonia - From 12/12/39 to 25/12/39
Pasteur - From 12/12/39 to 20/12/39
Saguenay - From 12/12/39 to 13/12/39
Skeena - From 12/12/39 to 13/12/39
Walpole - From 24/12/39 to 27/12/39
Wanderer - From 24/12/39 to 27/12/39
