Hello Siri and Arild

I have something about the M/S Brynje in my papers.
1 incident:
18 March 1941 Stranded on Hatter Barn North of The Great Belt Denmark.
19 March salvaged By Svitzer (Slavage Vessel S/S Garm) and towed to Kalundborg.


2 Incident:
M/S Brynje from Porsgrunn
Dato of loss 20 July 1941

Tons 3916 Brt. / 2328 Net. Built 1926 of Steel

Accident type: Sunk after eksplosion
Place: Kalundborg fjord 55,42“18““n / 10,57“20““e

State of the ship: filled with water

Salvaged by following Vessels:
From Svitzer(Kopenhagen)
S/S Freja (Salvage vessel/tug)
S/S Bien(Salvage vessel/tug)
S/S Urd(Salvage vessel/tug)
S/S Ęgir(Salvage vessel/tug)
S/S Odin(Salvage ponton)
S/S Thor(Salvage Ponton)

From Hugo Stinnes(Hamburg)
Else Hugo Stinnes (Salvage liftinge Vessels)
Ernst Hugo Stinnes(Salvage liftinge Vessels)

Raised on the 27 March 1944 and towed to Kalundborg.

Later transferred to Kopenhagen

Later History unknown
