Hi Barry.
Mary Rose & Strongbow left Lerwick 15/10 1917 with a east bound convoy, the next day the destroyers separeted and Mary Rose was going ahead to meet the westbound convoy of 12 merchant ship from Marsten, Norway, which was protected by the armed English steamer Benelech.
At 0600 the 17/10 the convoy was suprised by the German minelaying cruisers Brummer and Bremse, those two Germans sank Strongbow about 0730 and then started to shell the convoy where the two Swedish steamers H. Wicander (1 256 grt) and Visbur (962 grt) was sunk. The English destroyer Strongbow which also then had join the convoy was also sunk.
In the westbound convoy of 12 ship 9 where sunk:
Swedish: H. Wicander and Visbur (Both sunk)
Norwegian: Dagbjerg and Kristine (Both sunk)
This is what I have for the moment
