Hello everyone,

I have a couple of strange Allied / neutral merchant losses (or decades-lasting errors) for February 1943.

1) Roskill mentions a single small ship (75 grt) as sunk by aircraft. No idea what ship it could be. I have already completed losses for all the theaters except for the Mediterranean. So it possibly went down in the Mediterranean or in the Black Sea area.

2) According to War at Sea tables, 7 Allied / neutral ships were mined in February 1943 (34,153 grt in total). I still miss three of them - they have 20,022 grt in total. All of them were lost (sinking / total loss) possibly in the Mediterranean (or the Black Sea). I have already been considering "Baltonia" (2,013 grt), "Empire Mordred" (7,024 grt), "Mary Slessor" (5,027 grt), and "Lindbergh I" (67 grt; the last one lost in the United Kingdom waters). But I have not found three more, possibly bigger ones (20,022 grt). He probably does not consider the tug "Geir" (323 or 324 grt) being thought to be lost on a U-boat mine earlier, it sank off the Atlantic Coast of Morocco (I have already finished Atlantic losses).

What do Lloyd's War Losses say? I have already searched through Chronik des Seekrieges, Statistichen Teil, and even through unclassified WW2 chronology for this month with no success.
