Hello,

I exchanged some emails with Erling today about a snippet found in a Norwegian document from 1940.

It stated that the steamer Annfin of Oslo, 729 GRT, had foundered off Holmengraa on 27.2.1940.

According to Erling the vessel, which was built in 1920, was condemned, later sold to Norsk Bjergningskompani, which salvaged the vessel and put her in service under the same name.

I must be confused, but I'm unable to find the vessel on this site, perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place.

Can anyone tell me more about this vessel, like builder, owners, possible war service under German control, when she was salvaged etc.
