Some further details on the "down under" part of her life:
1957 arrived Brisbane and in 1958 renamed TANGALOOMA, operating from Moreton Island. 1962 renamed LOOMA 1. 1963 sold to Perano, arrived Picton 4 Feb 1963 and renamed ORCA. 27 Apr 1963 to 21 Dec 1964 whaling, and caught 248 sperm whales. 22 Dec 1964 a crack was discovered in the boiler. Mar 1966 sold to D A Glozier, a scrap dealer, but then resold to Pacific Scrap Ltd. Broken up Oct and Nov 1966 at Picton.

The shore whale factory operated by Perano's at Whekenui, Tory Channel now forms part of a Department of Conservation heritage site.
