I understand that several histories of this company (FESCO) have been published in Russian. I am hopeful that some one can provide me with the bibliographic data, and perhaps the name of a book dealer. Many thanks in advance. As always my interest is on contacts with China.

Looking for any pictures / posters of the SS Lochgarry she was lost with 20+ fatalities including my Grandfather (William Park Adams ).
These seamen have been forgotten by both their Government and the company that they where employed with, namely David Mac Braynes .
Mac Braynes Managing Director doesn't feel he needs to reply to any correspondence when asked what he will do to comemorate the deaths of these brave men . Men who rescued over 1000 troops from the beaches of Dunkirk .
Came under enemy attack at least three times doing the run that they where given Glasgow , Iceland , the Pharoe islands running troops and munitions . No North Atlantic Medals for the men with no voices.

There are no records of a Lochgarry lost or damaged in WW2.

A William Adams is recorded as lost on the SS Melrose of Leith in 1940.

Referring to the two previous posts, there is a report of an Official Inquiry relating to a Lochgarry which ran aground with a number of lives lost.
It was not due to enemy action.
