For the wartime period, the National Archives of Norway will be able to help you with names of ships. When you know their names, you can come back to my Ship Lists and find out more about them.

Having said that, I have crew lists for all torpedoed Norwegian ships,except neutral and Panamanian on this site and can't find him mentioned anywhere, so it'spossible he sailed on Panamanian ships all through the war(?)
