I am doing som investigation to find out about my mothers uncle.
His name was Egil Bruraas Sevaldsen, born 01.05.21.
The information we have so far is that he was on a ship called MOSDALE in 1940. He left the ship in New York 12.08.40 but he did never return to the ship. His relatives in Norway have not been able to find out what happened to him. His brother in Norway is still alive and I would very much like to help him to find out what happened to his brother.
Is it anybody out there able to help me with information or maybe you know other places where I can get information ?
I started the search in 1999. All traces stops at the New York harbour ( found with the help from Norwegian State Archiv)
