German ship ran aground about 29.9.44

Hello, friends!
I KTB HGr Nord on that day I found the record: «All attempts to take off transport «Vaterland» (re-translation from Russian; I think that the ship had another but the similar name) were unsuccessful. The ship shot downed three Russian planes». Does somebody know where and how grounded this ship?
