Norwegian Liberty ship OLE BULL

The Liberty ship OLE BULL (ex Sallie S Cotten 43; built 1943; 7176 tons gross) was operated by Nortraship until October 1946, when it was sold to the Norwegian government. In Lloyd's Confidential Index (LCI), December 1946 edition, the vessel is shown as joining the fleet of L Gill-Johannessen, Oslo. Lloyd's Register supplements for the relevant period do not mention Gill-Johannessen. It would appear that upon acquisition by Norway OLE BULL went to Smedvigs Tankrederi-A/S, and this is confirmed not only by data elsewhere on this website but also by Miramar and Starke/Schell. Unfortunately, the Skipet fleet lists do not include Gill-Johannessen or Smedvig, so I could not get any clues from there. I suspect that the entry in LCI was either a straightforward error or that the vessel was actually with Gill-Johannessen for a very short time and was sold on by them to Smedvig.
I would be interested to learn from any member of this forum who can confirm that there was a brief Gill-Johannessen interest in OLE BULL in late 1946.
Regards
Roger
