M/V Goya (1940)

Dear all.

I am researching the ship M/V Goya for some time now.

Built by Akers mek. Verksted, Oslo (479), launched as Goya for A/S J. Ludwig Mowinckels Rederi, Bergen on Apr. 4-1940

Especially, I am interested in getting copy of the detailed ships plans from Goya (or any of her sisterships), in order to build a museum-quality shipsmodel to honor and remember the many people died on this ship.

I have contacted the Norsk Teknisk Museum as the museum should hold the archive from Akers Mekaniske Verksted. Unfortunately, I did not get any reply.

Is there anybody here in the Forum, who has some additional photos and/or ships plans from Goya or her sister or could assit me in order to receive the construction plans of the ship, so a utmost accurate ships model can be build?

I appreciate your assitance in this matter and look forward to ou discussion.

Kind regards,
Mario
