Hallo Visje
Thanks for the listing. I know the link, but i don't understand everything because of the dutch language and i don't want to make mistakes with my bad translation.
For example: What is a "logementsschip" in english or german ?
But the link helped me a lot in the past. The only thing i was missing was the information about the typ of ship described there.
P.S. A new very good link (in german)

If you not already know it, maybe it helps by your research work.

Hi Axel,
logementsschip means "accommodation ship", basically. Thanks for the link, I will certainly check it out ;)

Fehnschiff is translated as “moor-ship”. A vessel intended for use in de moors in north-west part of Germany.
De following information is mainly from Die deutsche Kriegsschiffe volume 8/2 (published 1993). These vessels were rather small, average 20/25 meter long and 4/4,4 meters wide. This is because they had to fit in the canals in the moors of north-west Germany. About 70 were requisitioned for use on the Dnepr in Russia. In the end only 16 were transferred through the Ludwigwigkanal (connecting the Rhine with the Donau) and the Donau to the Black Sea. In the Black Sea there were with the Seetransportstelle Braila). Some were later transferred to the Aegean Sea.
Additional information can be found in from Die deutsche Kriegsschiffe volume 8/2 page 440/444
