These are most interesting contributions, Erland and Erling. I am very appreciative that good info on these barges that went to Norway/Iceland is now emerging. Some small questions:
1) Do you think that PD121/CRETEJOIST was also given a "BK" number before being wrecked in 1942?
2) Was PD135/CRETESURF actually with Skogland as SKOGLAND IV in 1924 (as per Lloyd's Register), before going to AS Stord?
3) I was not previously aware of the loss of a Skogland concrete barge in 1923, nor of their Brazilian connection.
]. I suppose that another candidate would be PD95/CRETEHUT/SKOGLAND I.
4) If we have accounted for SKOGLAND I and IV, what about II and III? Perhaps they were PD28/CRETEARMOUR and PD29/CRETRILL, both sold to Norway in 1922 and later reported renamed PONTA D'AREIA and URUCU respectively (and both decidedly Brazil-flavoured names)
