Jan-Olof

This is a bit of a mystery. In Lloyd's War Losses this tanker is shown as a loss in July 1942 when on voyage from Veracruz to Tampico and there was "some survivors". The cause of the loss was "S" = submarine.
I have checked all other obvious sources, such as Rohwer, Mexican ships list (I only have 1940), Mexican naval ships list, and the names of German and Italian vessels that were seized by Mexico, and Lloyd's Register 1942, but the name does not show in any of these.

Regards
Roger
