Interesting.
Since they were both southbound, they must have been waiting for another convoy, not TAW-15. Perhaps Rainer has something.
btw Axel, since you have Busch & Röll and Kelshall's book, what do they write about the "West Chetac", sunk by U-175 on September 24, 1942. All sources that I have say that she was dispersed from TAW.14 a few hours before being sunk, however that can't be correct considering the fact that TAW-15 sailed one month earlier.
