Fannie taught school in Ellsworth.
She and her husband Herman operated Red Roof Ball Room in Ellsworth before moving to Sioux Falls in 1940. They owned and operated Meester Plumbing and Heating. Fannie was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Royal Neighbors of America and Plumbers Association Auxiliary.
Survivors included a son Judd, Edina - 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
